Please tell me as much as possible about your competition or event, using the form below. I rarely follow up on messages that only give me a link because I'm never sure if they're spam.

For competitions, I need the title of the comp, word count, theme (if any) type, i.e. short story or poetry or other, fee, prizes, and a link to the website, and/or an address and contact name. For events and workshops, please tell me where, when, how much, what's involved and who people might contact if they need further information.

Please note that whilst I can list comps in my Writers Forum article, I am not responsible for events listings, so they will only go onto this website. Please contact the magazine directly if you wish to promote your event.

This is very important: DO NOT send any competition entries to me, whether they're for the comps listed on these pages or for Writers Forum writing comps. I am not responsible for receiving or passing on these entries. If you are entering the Writers Forum comp, which I neither administer or judge, or have any questions about it, do so via the website here.

Please Note: Due to the format of this website, comps must have a specified, and clear, closing date (in the case of comps with several rounds, this can be the date by which fees must be in). Comps without a closing date will not be listed.
